Helps you develop the strategy and plan for the new network solution, including identifying requirements and defining the high-level architectural, topological, and functional specifications.
Juniper Responsibilities
- Review the customer business and design requirements listed below
- Obtain customer signoff
- Document the new network design and recommendations
- Provide project management input for Juniper service deliverables
- Keep project team up-to-date with regular deliverables status updates
Customer Responsibilities
Provide all of the relevant information including:
- Description of services to be supported by the network infrastructure
- Resiliency and connectivity
- Requirements related to class of service and quality of service
- Routing policies
- Scaling requirements and constraints
- Network reliability requirements
- High-availability requirements
- Performance requirements
- Current network limitations the new design is intended to solve
- A technical contact who provides supporting technical and has sign-off authority
