The Juniper Networks Certification Program (JNCP) Service Provider Routing and Switching track allows participants to demonstrate competence with Juniper Networks technology. Successful candidates demonstrate thorough understanding of networking technology in general and Juniper Networks service provider routing and switching platforms.
SERVICE PROVIDER ROUTING AND SWITCHING TRACK UPDATE
Effective September 30, 2011, the M Series and T Series Certification Track is completely retired. The replacement track is the Service Provider Routing and Switching Track on this Web page. Please note that once earned, a JNCIA-M, JNCIS-M, JNCIP-M or JNCIE-M credential is valid for a period of two years. When it’s time to recertify one of these credentials, you’ll need to recertify on the Service Provider Routing and Switching track. Please see the Recertification Table for details.

| At the pinnacle of the Service Provider Routing and Switching certification track is the 1-day JNCIE-SP Lab Exam. This exam is designed to validate the networking professionals’ ability to implement, troubleshoot and maintain Juniper Networks service provider networks. The 8-hour format of this exam requires that candidates build a service provider network consisting of multiple MX series routers. Successful candidates will perform system configuration on all devices, implement various protocols, policies and VPNs, HA capabilities, and Class of Services. The JNCIE-SP is valid for two years.
